Last weeks in America

Well, the time has come. I'm getting pretty anxious. I still can't believe that I'm leaving in one week. Just think one week from tonight I will be sitting in the L.A. airport getting ready to board the plane to Cambodia. Kind of scary.

First off I would like to thank everyone for helped me out. It was much appreciated. I couldn't of done it with out you. Its pretty amazing to watch God work. When money was not coming in, I was starting to get worried, and wondering how much I would have to work to make it happen. Then one day I just so tired of worrying that I just said, "God, if I'm suppose to go you will make it happen." Look at me now! I'm getting ready to go and God pulled though like he always does. One thing I have learned, not just in the past year but with all the other mission trips I have been on is that God will provide you just have to wait for him to work his magic.

Okay. Last week I went to visit my Dad, Angie and my brother Jake in Idaho. It was so much fun! We went camping! Like always my family takes forever to get anywhere, so naturally we got out to the camping ground like at midnight. But, hey, what can you say to a whole bunch of Indians who had not time for so many years. LOL! I saw a side of my family that I have never seen before, while in the woods; I liked that. My brother was extremely emotional when he said goodbye, and my Dad is not very good expressing himself to me, but I could tell he was really worried about me going. That makes me feel good. He is truly an amazing man. I love him. As for Angie, she is so funny and an easy going person if your not messing up her house. Its an on going battle between her and I. That is just how we show our love. LOL!

How could I forget my friends in good old Walla Walla. Before coming back home to Helena I decieded to visit some friends. I figured since I'm only two and a half hours away I should go and visit. Jess, Laura and I just hung out like old times. It was fun! Jess and I went shopping for clothes. I wanted to go to Tri-cities, but Laura was sick so we watched this hilarious movie, Norbit. Man oh man did I laugh my head off. As usual we took some pictures to remember these last moments I had with them.

Driving back home to Helena was not that fun. I almost got in 3 wrecks! The first two would have been my fault. I fell asleep at the wheel, but luckily the Lord was watching over me. The last one was not my fault. I was just tens minutes or so away from Helena and this guy decides to pass two bikers. Which would have been fine if it was not for the fact that he totally miss judged the distance. Needless to say I had to drive on the shoulder and still by the time I passed him he was still in my lane! Some people are just stupid and don't pay attention.

Other than the fact of almost dieing, I'm having a great time here in Helena visiting my family. Today my sister and I went shopping. Okay, if your wondering why I go shopping so much its because I have only so much time to buy summer clothes. I'm not going to be wearing pants and a long shirt in Cambodia. NO WAY! I hate the heat and won't be caught dead in that unless I have gone crazy, and let me tell you, I'm not there yet. My mom is going to take time off of work to help me finish up packing and buying stuff. As for Jerry, step dad, he is working hard to get back on his feet. As he would say. No, he is working hard to get this land development he's been working on for sometime. In the end he will he happy with the money he makes.

My older brother is coming down this weekend to see me off. How exciting! I can't wait to see him. Oh, and Ashley my best friend is coming down to see me off as well. These last weeks in America have been great. I couldn't ask for more.
